World Rules Knockout Competition - 2017

This competition is open to all registered players in the Kirkburton Pool League.  Entry is only £5 per person payable to Steve Weatherby on the day and there will be cash prizes.  The competition will be held in aid of Kirkwood Hospice (last year we raised £300).

We hope to get as many entrants as possible and will look to organise other activities on the day /evening depending upon numbers of entrants, to keep everyone involved.

The provisional date and location for this year's competition is Wednesday 27th December at The Ashfield Club.

As we get nearer the time the entry list will open and there will be a form to fill in on this page.

Congratulations to David Crossland (Emley Moor WMC B) who won the World Rules KO Competition last night at the Ashfield (27/12/2017).  David beat Justin Riley (Emley Moor WMC B) in the final to gain his 2nd World Rules title in three years.  The event was once again organised by Steve Weatherby with special thanks to Kevin Armitage who gave up his time to referee the final, Mick Butterworth who ran the book and the Ashfield Club for hosting the event.  Overall in excess of £230 was made for Kirkwood Hospice.
